NATIONAL TAKE-BACK EVENT
Fremont 5 sponsored a location for the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Outside Kent's Market in Plain City, Community member could bring unused and expired medications to turn in for safe disposal. This event supports reducing overdoses and overdose death. HOPE NIGHT
Fremont high School hosted a community event centered on mental health awareness and Fremont 5 was proud to be a part of it! We donated to bring speaker Sarah Frei in the share her inspiring story of being hit by a drunk driver and losing both legs. QUESTION. PERSUADE. REFER. (QPR TRAINING)
Fremont 5 hosted a QPR training at the end of April. QPR is a suicide prevention class that teaches how to QUESTION (identify the warning signs of suicide), PERSUADE (interrupt the crises), and REFER (how to direct the person to care).
