Volunteer
We always accept (and love) volunteers! There are many ways to be involved from attending Community Board meetings and just listening to helping on one of our workgroups and helping to keep Fremont 5 running, to being a community partner or sponsor, and more.
Resource Assessment; Evaluation
Identify and evaluate existing community programs, policies, andpractices looking for gaps and opportunities. Report findings and design an evaluation of the Fremont 5CTC Community Action Plan.
Risk & Protective Factor Assessment
Review and analyze community risk and protector factors datausing the SHARP Survey and creating priorities for our Implementation Plan.
Community Outreach; Public Relations
Create opportunities for receiving input, promoting benefits,and celebrating successes. Connect with the community via stakeholders, social media, and traditionalmedia outlets.
Community Board Maintenance; Funding
Develop a process for recruiting and educating new coalition members. Coordinate team building and recognition activities. Identify sources of funding and help write grant proposals.
Youth
Community youth who will work in other work group activities, educate other youth on risk and protective factors, and hold activities with opportunities for skills development, service, and recognition. We also need adults to act as advisors in this group.
